Melt, Is it negative or positive?

Melt combined with down is negative,

As child who has a meltdown, 

Or a nuclear meltdown that occurs,

Or melted chocolate dripping on gown,

But melted butter on warm popcorn,

Or some hamburgers with melted cheese,

S'mores with melted marshmallows and chocolate,

Will the hungry crowd surely please.
