Cee's Share Your World Week #41

To learn a little bit more about me, see these responses that I'm linking to the questions/statements at Cee's blog hop Share Your World Week #41.  Each week there are new questions/statements to consider.  To learn more about this blog hop, be sure to take a look at not only this blog hop at her site, but the many other blog hops she has.

My love of music began by hearing my parents sing and when I learned to play the piano.

1.  What genre of music do you like?  I like a lot of different kinds of music --- classical, broadway show tunes, spa, folk songs, celtic, 40's, 50's, and some 60's music, some country music, and some instrumental.  It would probably be easier to list music I don't enjoy --- rap, very loud blaring music, music that has language that I wouldn't use or is about subjects I find offensive.

2.  What is the worst thing you ate last week?  The best way to answer this would be to tell you something I ate that was the worst thing for my body to eat, and that would be too many sugary desserts.  I really do like them, but I know it would be best not to eat them so often.

3.  Would you like to be famous?  In what way?  I do not have a desire to be famous.

4.  Complete this sentence:  This sandwich could really use some. . . fresher bread.

Bonus Question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week ahead?  Again this week I'll link you to my newest post of Ten Things of Thankful I wrote this weekend.  This week I am looking forward to a Find Your Roots, a family history discovery day at my church on Saturday morning.  Because there have been so many advancements in this field, I know that I am going to learn some things I don't know.  There is another activity being held that day that I hope to at least join in for the lunch and to see some of the demonstrations for a while in the afternoon.

  1. Your family history day should be fascinating. It's always interesting to learn more about where we came from. Thanks for visiting my blog. :)

  2. Fresher bread would be wonderful for the sandwiches. I always used to make my own. :D

    1. Back in the day, I made my own bread also, but now I really shouldn't be eating a lot of bread. I still love it though.
