Ronovan Writes #Weekly #Haiku #Poetry Prompt #Challenge #66 Pine&Grief

This haiku must have standing in the queue of my brain, because it came forth rather quickly when I saw this week's haiku challenge at the blog hop at Ronovan Writes #Weekly #Haiku #Poetry Prompt #Challenge #66 Pine&Grief.  Sometimes a forest can be a place of refuge.

Among the pine trees
he sought refuge from his grief
so his heart could heal.

    1. Thank you for visiting. There is something very peaceful in being able to be in the outdoors where worldly clatter is gone and where there are the sounds of nature instead.

  3. Walking in the woods is the best escape ever from the world and when needing to find a healing place to be alone, nature, away from the world of noise and chaos, are one of the best places ever. jk
