Finish the Sentence Friday - Listicle: Ten things about the changing of the seasons

It is true that I seem to be a natural born list maker, so maybe that is one reason I enjoy participating in Listicle Friday so much. The second Friday of each month host, Kristi Campbell of Finding Ninee and co-host, Kenya G. Johnson of Sporadically Yours give participants of the Finish the Sentence Friday blog hop a listicle prompt. I'm linking my list to Finish the Sentence Friday - Listicle: Ten Things about the changing of the seasons. Check out the other listicles by clicking the link.

  1. I can't wait to need a jacket. Once it cools off in NC is my favorite time of year. Unfortunately we are too far south to get the beautiful colors. Our leaves seem to just turn brown and fall.

    1. It seems that wherever a person lives there are things to be enjoyed and perhaps some things that aren't so pleasant. I think it is natural for people to eventually call those places home, and it is where they desire to return.

  2. We need a light jacket at night here now but the days are still so hot that it's not feeling much like fall. Over the next few weeks, the Aspen trees will be changing and I'm really looking forward to showing Robert and Tucker how different (and still how beautiful) the leaves changing here are than in Virginia.

    1. Quaking aspens are such beautiful trees. I love to watch them as they move with the wind. We planted a couple of them a few years ago. They grow amazingly fast!

  3. I can not wait for "jacket weather" and just about everything else on your list with the exception of shorter days. I have certainly made the transition from Summer Person to Fall person over the last few years. Love the list.

    1. Thanks. I also prefer the fall over the heat of the summer.
