Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku Poetry Challenge #61 Tears & Wine

This is a post to a blog hop at Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku Poetry Challenge #61 Tears & Wine.
The challenge is to write haiku poetry using the prompt words tears and wine, and for the haiku to be a formation of two sentences, with the middle line being the ending of the sentence started with the first line, and for the middle line to be the beginning of the second sentence which is ended with the third line of the haiku.

Wine colored satin
gown was perfect for the dance,
not for falling tears.

  1. I'm no haiku expert, but this one seems to me to follow the technical rules and also create a vivid image!
