Cee's Odd Ball Photo Challenge: 2015 Week 37

This is my post to the blog hop at Cee's Odd Ball Photo Challenge:  2015 Week 37.

Wig-Wearing Tree

When we visited Wilhoit Springs in Oregon earlier this summer, I was fascinated by some of the trees there.  The one shown here reminds me of a tree wearing a wig.  I suspect it maybe have had a lot more moss surrounding all sides at some point, but which got blown away or dropped off in a heavy wind storm.  The tree was no longer standing straight and was left with this eerie appearance.

  1. I so love the mossy trees in Oregon. And yes, moss grows on all sides. :D

    1. I think this tree has survived a lot of storms.
