It was so interesting! Since I was multi tasking at the time, I probably need to go online and find the script for the show and study it. Quite often when communicating with my husband, one or the other of us will say to the other, "I think we are trying to say the same thing," although our manner of saying it may differ. Usual it takes me a lot more words to make the point. LOL I really do need to explore the Wakefield Doctrine. . .Pat Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00760779673175109204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6361077859023918156.post-9136870787564812682016-02-11T11:55:34.787-08:002016-02-11T11:55:34.787-08:00Glad things are better for Grandma now. I love these various wraps which are made of 100% whole wheat, olive oil and flax seed. They are so good. I top them with some fresh salsa and a little Greek yogurt.Pat Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00760779673175109204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6361077859023918156.post-5547253246669130022016-02-10T12:18:31.416-08:002016-02-10T12:18:31.416-08:00Oh, I'm so excited for you! It truly has been a life changing experience for me in so many ways. The dates and places are interesting, but the experiences of their lives often recorded in old county histories, etc. are fascinating. I've done several DNA tests. I was mostly interested in the DNA tests for health reasons.Pat Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00760779673175109204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6361077859023918156.post-73868696142796564802016-02-10T12:13:02.589-08:002016-02-10T12:13:02.589-08:00So many illnesses have such very painful end stage...So many illnesses have such very painful end stages. I don't think I've tried it, or seitan, though there are now a couple of tofu dishes I'll accept are reasonably tasty. Still prefer beans though. But ALWAYS think that new recipes are worth trying, and good for you for giving them a go in spite of the hassle.

Really glad the tricky situation for your mum has resolved itself. It's awful to have that 'stuck' feeling of just having to endure and keep slogging because there seems nothing to be done, and it's such a relief when it's over. I hope you have a long time of plain sailing before the next challenge arises :)Lizzihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17480448062269641320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6361077859023918156.post-90678470547359629632016-02-08T09:31:54.317-08:002016-02-08T09:31:54.317-08:00I've just started to research our ancestry. But this Christmas my adult daughter requested an Ancestry DNA kit for Christmas and became interested in tracing family trees. My son got in the act and your daughter Kristi, steered me over to familysearch.org and I am hooked as well. It takes real focus and lots of time, but so interesting to follow the threads. Glad to see you back at the TToT.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6361077859023918156.post-77654344323515235592016-02-08T04:13:30.114-08:002016-02-08T04:13:30.114-08:00I know what you mean about looking back at ancesto...I know what you mean about looking back at ancestors. It''s not vaccines, but my grandmother's brother, her baby brother, my great uncle died at age four from diabetes in the 40s. I don't know the whole story, but they lived a simple farm life and the treatments, insulin just was not available. I had kidney failure as a child and know what that sort of illness feels like in its end stages. I imagine the way it must have been for him. I know how easy it is to take our modern medicine for granted, but we don't realize how blessed we are today.Kerryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07162949369536716651noreply@blogger.com
