I too actually grew to like beans fixed th...Thanks. I too actually grew to like beans fixed that way, although I preferred that way of cooking carrots more as a kid. I have never liked walnuts. But, come Thanksgivings, out they'd come and along with them silver nutcracker and those curved pick things. Had to laugh about ...All of it sounds scrumptious! <br />Had to laugh about the "green bean casserole" as it was called in my house. When I was a kid, it took me awhile to appreciate green beans like that but believe it or not it became one of my favorite dishes:)<br />I love your descriptions, especially about the carrots.
